Kelly Cameron is a proud member of Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation, located in the heart of Treaty 6 Territory. With over 20 years of experience at SaskEnergy, Kelly has developed a deep knowledge of the oil and gas industry, focusing on fostering meaningful connections between Indigenous communities and the energy sector.

As a specialist in Indigenous Engagement, Kelly has led numerous significant initiatives aimed at promoting collaboration and understanding, ensuring that Indigenous voices are represented and heard in the industry. His commitment to community development is further exemplified by his recent academic achievement; he has completed the coursework for his MBA in Community Economic Development from Cape Breton University. Kelly is now currently writing his capstone Applied Research Project paper focusing on Indigenous Economic Development.
